Revitalizing New Jersey’s Economy While Creating A Sustainable Future

New Jersey has the opportunity to create well paying, instate jobs while stepping up its role as an environmental steward. From our seashores to our farms New Jersey has the resources to compete in a rapidly changing energy market by increasing our investment in renewable energy. When I am elected to Congress I will work to create subsidies for instate renewable power generation not only because it is the right thing to do for our environment, but because it is the right thing to do for New Jersey’s working families. An investment in Green Collar jobs would raise wages for working New Jerseyans and provide them with good benefits in an economic sector that cannot be outsourced. The bottom line: Safe, secure jobs in an uncertain economy is simply a no brainer.
